New Our Stories Page Tells the Tales of Our Amazing Partners

Today, the Willamette Laja Twinning Partnership is proud to announce the launch of a new page on our site titled Our Stories, which highlights tales of our invaluable partners from around the Willamette and Laja watersheds. Whether in the field working on various restoration and conservation projects or in the classroom teaching the next generation the importance of caring for and protecting our environment, they are integral to our mission. The goal of Our Stories is not just to feature the amazing work each partner is doing, but also to find out how they became interested in conservation in the first place—why they do what they do.

Our first two highlighted partners are the incomparable educator Paola Rangel—an Aves Compartidas instructor in the Laja—and award-winning conservationist Arturo Garcia Lozano, who founded Cuerpos de Conservacion de Guanajuato, A.C.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding more stories from our dedicated partners, so stay tuned for updates.
